Reaction to Office Ergonomics Training: A Dozen Th

Sun Jan 15, 2006, 6:54 AM
The Eyes :eyes: is one of the most important body organ that we posses. Through our eyes, we can see everything, from a simple object in front of you to the farthest object within your sight. The eyes let us see the world in a different way. It lets us define how beautiful or how ugly the world is.

Almost all the jobs we have here in the world require our eyesight. That is why our Eyes are very important. It helps us to do our work much faster and much easier. Our eyesight enables us to see what we are doing. It also enables us to see our mistakes we have committed. Thus, we can correct it. However, there are circumstances that our eyes became weak or overused. One example of this is Eyestrain.

According to the dictionary, eyestrain is the weariness of eyes from excessive or incorrect use. Different people have different meanings of eyestrain. Some might define it as burning, tightness, sharp pains, dull pains, watering, blurring, double vision, headaches, and other sensations, depending on the person. Just like what an article have said in a website about Office-Ergo.

The article discusses things a person should know about Eyestrain. It is very helpful for everyone to know that our eyes have weaknesses. It gives us information how to detect that we have eyestrain. Reflected glare, such as on computer screens, sometimes causes eyestrain. But, its worst effect may be causing you to change your posture to an uncomfortable one, in order to see well. This one is a perfect example especially to those who are working with their computers in their office or in their homes. This site is very informative in terms of its content and example. Viewers and readers are given guidance for health improvement. In the end, it depends on the people if they are going to take this article seriously. Nevertheless, for me, it is very informative. It made me more cautious about my eyes.

All in all, our eyes has given us many things. It is our time to give them what they need, that is a rest. We should let our eyes some rest from time to time. In order to see a beautiful future. =) Our eyes is a window that allows us to peek what God has created for us. =) :eyes:
